p4: unit 14 treatment

Treatment  

In this radio drama I will be interviewing a social media influencer. I will be doing a radio drama called ‘the down fall’ in this radio drama it will showcase a social media person which looks down on normal people who work a normal job and we are interviewing them about how they felt facing all the hate comments they have received from others due to his action. This person is called Bilal who is 21. 

I will use sound in this radio drama by using sound effects I will do this by putting sound effect in places for example to make a miserable or sad scene I can add rain sound effects which create a sad atmosphere. Another sound effect that I will be using in this radio drama show is wild tracks, I will use this by having people’s comments being played in the background by doing this it showcases realism, and it helps to create a realistic atmosphere. Dialogue is another key element to consider in this radio drama, another sound I will be using dialogue by using dialogue it helps the audience understand what is being said, dialogue helps to show when two people come across each other and is communicating these showcases what is being between two people.   

My radio drama target audience is from the ages of 14-30 this is because most likely the younger aged people are using social media compared to older people. This radio drama gives ideas to children and older people from the ages of 14 – 30 about social media of what to do and not do and keeping your self safe online.
