swot analysis of first draft

based on the feedback which I have got my strength are that i have made the radio show very realistic and it felt as it was a real story by the tone they spoke with and the things they said. from the feedback which I got my weaknesses was that I need to have a introduction music this is because with the introduction music the audience will know that the show has started and by hearing that music they will know that its the chadwell heath radio show, it also allows to bring recognition to the radio show. opportunities for this is that it can make the radio drama show bro even more, the threats for this is that when finding introduction music I have to be careful of what music I chose so I don't break the copy right rule and use someones less music without their permission if this does happen I will be fined.

new analysis of feedback

from the feedback which has been said to me, is that they didn't like the music which I have used in my radio drama at the start of the radio drama this is because they said its to shorts and that it jumps straight into the topic of talking. They also said that they wanted to know a back story of why the influencer said what he said by hearing a back story people can get a better understanding of both sides of the story. they also said that I shouldn't have made it a aggressive radio drama this is because its very unprofessional for radio dramas to have people who are being aggressive and arrogant in the show.

new audio asset

"welcome back to chadwell heath academy radio"

audio required:

introduction music

why its require:

introduction music is require because it shows to the audience that the show is starting and by hearing the introduction music they will know that this is the Chadwell heath academy's radio show

"I'm ready to start now"

audio required:

foley sound rain drop

why its required:

by having this rain drop sound it shows that its a rainy day and it showcases a atmosphere to being rainy and sad day

"guys cut the broadcast ...."

audio required:

outro music

why itis required:

this is required because it shows to the audience that they show has come to an end. the outro music showcases to the audience that the episode has fully finished and that they are not taking a brake.

regulatory bodies

Ofcom helps to regular anything which can be bad and it can affect the audience such as offending them. some elements are such being fair to ectotherm, no offensive word used and protect under 18.

These elements are very important because such as treating everyone fairly in the workplace by doing this everyone will be happy by the way they are being treated, Ofcom doesn't allow anyone to be treated unequally this is because it's against their rules. In radio drama we talk about how the influencer was not treating everyone equally and that he was judging people and we spoke about this topic of treating everyone equally regardless of how they act or how rich they are.

another element they need to consider is under 18, this is because they might be under 18-year-olds who are watching shows and if there are anything bad which are being said or executed, they might be influenced to do the same foe example if there is something bad going on they might want to do the same which is wrong. In my radio drama the influencer was judging people of what jobs they have and what they do for a living i made sure that in my radio that this is not acceptable by doing this is prevents people under 18 to understand what they should do and what they shouldn't do.

another element is offensive word such as being racist and or swearing at a religion for example. this can impact on a lot of people by creating hate for each other and certain words can also lead to people being offended and them mentally being harmed. In my radio drama i made sure that there are no word or anything said which are racist or going to offend anyone by doing this it show equality of everyone.

P3 : NEW DISTRIBUTION MIND MAP

p2 : NEW BBC RADIO 4 REPORT

p1 : new comparison of tv show (400 word)

The show which I have decided to talk about is a sports show called sporting giants; sporting giants is a show which is broadcasted BBC radio 5 this show contains bringing famous sports person on to the show and they discuss topics with them, and they try to get to know the person more in detail this shows helps to get a better understanding of the person. I will be comparing this show to called The Archer, The Archers is a show on BBC radio 4, this is a drama show where they talk about their lives and what is going on in general. In both shows they Speake in a tone which is liked by audience, and it keeps the audience to keep watching and stay interested in the shows by speaking in a similar tone it helps to make them relate to it when the audience is relating to the show it makes them feel involved therefore, they can go and watch more often.

However, in sporting giants there is a person who is asking question to the guest, and they present the show as a interview, they do this by always brining someone famous and well known celebrity in any industry, by doing this it helps them to attract more views and  more audience and it also helps to entertain the audience better however BBC radio 5 where they just show people doing this rather than getting to know them.

Both of these radio shows are very good at attracting audience by creating entertainment for their audience and how they do it such as asking question and bringing famous people on their shows. by doing this it allows both of the different radio shows to attract new people to their shows.

evaluataion new

The flow of my radio drama had 3 act, this is where is had act 1 act 2 act 3, in act 1 this consists of introducing the characters in the radio drama and this help the audience to get a better understanding of the purpose of the radio and why it is happening. In act 2 this is where they start to address the problem / the reason for this radio drama taking place, this is where all the problems are being spoken about, in my radio drama in act 2 it get a intense such as they start to come out of character and they start to argue a bit this happens because they have couple disagreements with each other. In act this is where all the tension starts to go away and they come to a end and try apologies and try to find a solution to the problem and end it of.

The strength of my radio drama programs is that I have structured my radio drama as other radio drama such as other radio drama has beginning  middle and end, they also contain introduction music. in my radio drama I have stricter it with a beginning, middle and end, I have also used a introduction music to showcases that this music will play when someone watched my radio drama this help me to get some sort of recognition from the music being played. Another strength of my radio drama is that it had a very good narrative to the audience and I feel like the audience can learn from this radio drama becuase this radio drama is also education, informing and entertaining the audience therefore the audience will like it. My third strength if this radio drama is that the characters used a very good tone to make it seem very realistic and believable to the audience. The weakness in my radio drama is that I have made the conversation between two people a bit unrealistic and unprofessional, this is because in have Madde them argue which usually doesn't happen in any radio drama therefore it makes my radio drama seem unprofessional and in the real world they wouldn't allow this type of radio drama to be broadcasted on tv / radio. another weakness in my radio drama is that it wasn't long enough, my one was 3-4 minutes long but usually radio dramas are around 20 min long therefore I should of considered making my radio drama longer. My third weakness is I should of added more sound effect and use back ground music more often, this is because having the guest and the host soaking all the time it can get boring for the audience due to no music being played.

for my foley sound I used used caption to showcase what type of sound I was making. The caption helps the audience visually to see and so they can read what it says on the screen. I had to make sure that the audio was always clear so the audience could hear it and so that there aren't difficulty hearing the audio.

one improvement that I can do to my radio drama is that I can make the radio drama longer for example at the climax (1.02) I should add more context my radio drama and exaggerate it more so they can talk more in detail about the issue.

d1 : justification of how does and conventions are embedded in planned content.

In my radio drama I have used various elements, one of them is through the introduction i done this by having a introduction in my radio drama which mostly what other radio dramas does in general, in that introduction it gives a over of what will be happening, plot and it establishes the setting. I have also used a introduction music like any other radio drama would do to showcase that this is a signal to start the program. usually the music is played to show the audience that the show is about to begin and therefore thats why i have used it. By using this it also allows to have a smooth transition to the next part if the radio. Another code and convention in my radio drama is the characters voice such as what tone they speak in. speaking the right tone is very important because it can have huge impact on the audience, having the right tone it can make it sound very realistic and therefore audiences can believe it. Also in planned content we have to make sure that there is nothing being said which will effect the audience in any way this is because it in real radio drama they don't say anything which effects others.

d2:evaluation of the flow and audio levels
